On my mind:

"How beautiful you must be to see the beautiful in me."

A POET WRITING HIS WAY THROUGH LIFE.

Experiment with words. Write how you feel. And it will surprise you to know that others feel the same.

A young poet with aspirations to strike a connection with you, one poetry at a time. A thinker, a curious soul, check out some of his featured writings and author introduction below.

MUSEUM.

My mind, a museum of memories,

Where artifacts of life are displayed.

Within this gallery of my past,

I glimpse but cannot touch, nor feel the same.

Yet, if I dare to let you wander in,

Will you become a haunting memory too?

Another chapter etched in history's tome,

A tale I'll see, but cannot touch anew.

PHILOSOPHER VS LOVER

The philosopher in me

is constantly at war with the lover in me.

And sometimes, just sometimes,

the lover prevails.

He wins,

but never does he end up being victorious.

Abandoned Home

HIREATH

I often want to return home,

But it is impossible to find.

And I do not realize what home is

Until I have left it all behind.

Was my home lost in the past?

In a dream that did not last?

Did it ever exist?

My heart persists,

My mind knows,

Reality shows

There is no home.

GRAVEYARD

I make the dreaded journey, to my graveyard one more time. For I have to bury another failed version of mine. He tried too, and failed like the rest, they have been buried in the past, another lover, another dreamer, another character fails to outlast this play of pain. Onto the next version again.

THE JOURNEY WITHIN

When I was alone on the beach of my mind, I learnt to have control over the tide. It's when I walked on the sand of my heart, that I trampled on the ache and my footprints created art. It's when I watched the sunset of my pain, I realized that from life's ocean, my sun will rise again.

STARING AT THE MOON

Once again, I find myself looking up at the night sky, the moon, the stars and all that shine not quite knowing why I'm doing so. I'd like to apologize for I did not realize that my eyes had escaped the room and was chasing the moon aimlessly. Countless times, my mind drifts off chasing the light on a starry night at ease, finding peace. And when they ask, I put on my mask as I say nothing's wrong, while the stars knew all along that I found solace in their starry company, so careless, so free.
